This unusual finger mouse has two usual mouse buttons used for left click and right click and the scroll wheel between them. All three of them are controlled by your thumb, as it is the only one that reaches them. So the two buttons and the scroll wheel are situated on the side of the thumb. If you want to move the cursor on the comuter screen, just move your finger a little bit and the optical sensor placed in the front part of the mouse will capture the images and find out its position and then transmits it to the main computer via the cable attached to it. The computer then turns the coordinates of your mouse into movements of the cursor on the computer screen. It works on any computer that has Windows operating system installed, except Windows 98 and Vista. It does not support ny other operating system.

Another good thing about this computer finger mouse is the fact that you can use it while performing other tasks, too, like writing a text document and still be able to operate the mouse at the same time. I don't know who manufactures this tiny device, I guess it's some Japanese computer company , as they are crazy about high tech gadgets and tiny things, too. So you will probably find its price in yen, not US dollars. But you can buy it from eBay or any other specialized web site for a price that varies between $28 and 45. It really does not matter where you live, as there are some specialized companies that purchase different merchandise from all over the world and deliver it only on order. I am not that much into computer gadgets and stuff, but I liked this crazy computer mouse. First of all it gives you a kind of freedom you don't have when using a regular computer mouse. Then, and it is very important to me, you do not rest your hand on anything , so you will not have any health problems like tendonitis or repetitive strain injuries or even carpal tunnel syndrome which are caused by a long and intense use of the computer mouse. For example I already feel a tension in my wrist even if it is not night yet, because I have been using my mouse for more than half a day and my wrist together with its tendons are not very happy about it. Be careful though, to keep your index finger , the one supporting the finger mouse, in a normal position and try not to keep it up all the time that you work on your computer. It may be tiring , too. And it will work just fine even if you keep it facing the keyboard of your computer.

People who are used to the number pad at the right of the keyboard are pretty fast when introducing numbers in their documents , especially if they are spreadsheets or excel documents. They can't possibly have the same speed with the keys in a line.

Logitech V250 cordless mouse and number pad are delivered together and they are pretty similar as design, both coloured in silver and black. They are both wireless devices and work by sending radio frequency signals (2.4 GHz) to the small slick USB receiver that connects easily to the USB port of your laptop. They are instantly recognized by your laptop, as soon as you plug the receiver. They both use the same receiver even though it is not bluetooth, but they do have the same radio frequency . You have a CD containing some additional drivers ( I honestly don't know why) but they work just fine without them.

My guess is the drivers are meant to be used for older versions of Windows. Anyway, the mouse is very small and simple, with the classic two buttons used for right and left click and the scroll wheel between them, also working as the third button. It fits perfectly in your hand and works just fine on all kinds of surface except glass and reflexive surfaces, as this is an optical mouse and we all know this drawback of optical mouses.



Just like most of the wireless computer mouses every day, this too has an on/off button on its bottom in order to have the possibility to turn it off when you are traveling and saving the battery life in this way. by the way, it works with two AA batteries, and so does the number pad. The range within which the mouse operates is pretty big, up to six meters, though I am sure you can't see much of the laptop screen from this distance. It is a very good computer mouse and this thing is granted both by the Logitech name and also by the five year warranty. My belief is that no bad product gets such a long warranty.

Let's talk about the number pad now, as it is some very unusual device for me. It is also called numeric keypad and it is a rectangular pad containing all the number keys that laptop users miss so much, especially as they are all together here and also accompanied by the other usual keys like plus, minus and all the other. This device is wireless, too, and works on the same principle as the mouse, that is it sends radio frequency signals to the receiver and this one in its turn sends the information to the main computer.



The on/off button is present here, too and helps to save the battery energy. But this device is a bit more complex than the mouse as it has a dual function. One button allows you to set the number pad to work in the keypad mode and another ones transforms it into a pocket calculator. You can type any number you want here and perform any mathematical operation here without having to start the Windows on your laptop. But you can send the result of these operations directly in any document you might have opened on your computer.

What is really amazing about this number pad is the fact that you can also use it as a media remote control, due to some additional buttons. They can be used to adjust the volume of your laptop speakers or perform any of the basic operations of a regular remote control such as: play, rewind, fast forward, stop, start, etc.

Because you must keep them safe during transport the Logitech v250 cordless mouse and number pad are delivered together with a small cloth bag for the computer mouse and a rectangular plastic box for the key pad. In this way you can safely transport them from one place to another without causing any damage or without risking to press any buttons and ruin something by mistake.

It can save you a lot of time, as the number pad is a lot easier to use than the number keys that you can see on the keyboard of a laptop. And after all time is money. Not to mention the fact that if you are used to the similar number pad of your desktop computer you can even type all the numbers blind folded. All these facts plus the quality of the products recommend them.

I have always liked to see invention and imagination applied into practice no matter what field of activity you are dealing with. It is important, from my point of view, to do things differently, to bring a new fresh perspective over things and to combine the usefulness of some objects with a touch of beauty.
