Tuscan Mouse Pads

It really does not matter to them if an object is only an ordinary mouse pad or a masterpiece painting - they want all to look beautiful and be a nice piece in the puzzle that makes up a charming environment. You recognize these houses where every little thing is important for the harmony of the whole room and where a simple tea cup shows so much beauty that it takes your breath away.

This was only an introduction to Tuscan mouse pads, that was meant to introduce you in the atmosphere depicted by these wonderful and sensitive mouse pads printed with breathtaking paintings and photos taken in the beautiful and sunny and colourful scenery of Tuscony, a region in Italy. Italy is surrounded by the sea, so there is a lot of vegetation and the landscape is like painted or coming down from fairy tales. Everything is so green and vividly coloured that you feel alive just looking at the pictures.
Even though these Tuscan mouse pads are nothing more than simple computer mouse supports, they look like real paintings and are really impressive by the quality of the image and the wonderful colours.
The first picture is a real photo of a Tuscan rose in a Tuscan garden. I admit it's wonderful. I don't know if the person who took the photo works for www.zazzle.com, the online mouse pad store with hundreds of models to offer or if it's just a user who uploaded a photo because she wanted a customized mouse pad, but I do know the result, which is amazing. It's not only a mouse pad with a rose on, it's a colourful and lively piece of life on your desk. The second picture shows a painting of a Tuscan landscape with a house in the middle of the fields. Simple and nice.
Both Tuscan mouse pads are made of a very resistant material that can resist dust and stain and that is very easy to wash even when it gets dirty. They are covered with a durable cloth that offers a very good texture for mousing . But at the same time the back of the mouse pads are made of non- slip rubber that prevents them from slipping on the surface of your desk during the mousing activity , even during the most intense gaming session.

The size of 9.25" x 7.75" is perfect both for your work office and home desk and there's no such thing as a minimum order. You can even personalize and customize your mouse pads if you can't find any model to satisfy you in the whole Tuscan mouse pads series. You just upload a photo of Tuscan scenery on the web site and order your own mouse pad for $13.15.
Pictures Of Weird Computer Mice
Published by MouseArena, on March 10th, 2010, in the categories: Design, Funny Mouse
It looks like the ghost in Scary Movie, except the colours are the other way round: the eyes and mouth are black while the rest is white. It is a corded mouse and the eyes of the ghost are actually the two left and right click buttons and the little scroll wheel is situated between the eyes. I can't say the design is very ergonomic, especially with the pointed end of the mouse that could be really annoying.

I think this gadget is the perfect gift for Halloween when ghosts and witches are very popular. Or it may be the perfect gift for your rebel friend who likes Gothic style and wears only dark clothes with bones printed on them and chains and all the stuff. Or you may keep this weird computer mouse as a scary accessory, because I can't imagine using it for more than five minutes.
The first picture shows another weird computer mouse. This time some Russian kids turned out to have more imagination than it is necessary or even sane. They took a fake hand grenade, cut it in two and transformed it into a really weird computer mouse. They added all the necessary wires and even used the trigger as the left click mouse button. It is perfectly functional and looks very much like a real hand grenade, but it's only a gadget, as you can see from the pictures above.
The colour is perfect, the shape, too. Just the underneath of this object shows you its real purpose and what it is used for. But if it rests comfortably on your desk and you don't know what it is, you can surely mistake it for a real grenade and get frightened to death.

That is why I think this is a good gift for your enemies or for people with a really good sense of humor. After all, you don't want your best friend to start screaming and call the bomb squad when he finds your gift under the Christmas tree. Of course, these are only two of the many examples of weird computer mice existing on the market, but unfortunately I do not have enough time and space to show you more than that, but I think you already have an idea about this kind of computer mice.
Logitech Mx600 Cordless Laser Mouse
Published by MouseArena, on March 9th, 2010, in the categories: Design, Logitech, USB mouse, Wireless Mouse, concept mouse
It is amazing because of its simplicity. When you first look at it , you have the impression that it is minimalistic, but it actually has a lot of buttons that you can use by default or programme them to perform any functions you consider fit. Of course, there are the two traditional left and right click mouse buttons and the scroll wheel between them that also tilts to the sides for a horizontal scrolling.

Then there are the buttons on the left side of the mouse that are being operated by the thumb. The two buttons situated right on the thumb rest are usually used as back and forth buttons. But there are three additional buttons on the left edge of the mouse that, if you use them by default, will zoom in, zoom out and zoom 100%. However, if you do not use the zoom so much, that is if you are not interested in editing photos or something similar, you can always reprogramme them, for example to act like media buttons, performing the play/pause, volume up and volume down functions.
Logitech MX 600 cordless laser mouse is of course cordless. That is why it needs a receiver that connects to the USB or PS2 port of your computer. The wireless communication is made through 2.4 GHz radio frequency signals, the receiver getting the signals instantly due to the flawless responsiveness and state-of -the art laser technology. The laser sensor is very precise and works on all kinds of surfaces, even on glass, which is obviously superior to all the optical computer mice I have ever seen.

Being wireless means that this mouse works on batteries, two AA batteries to more exact. But they can last for a long time as the smooth moves of the mouse reduce friction and also the battery consumption. Because you don't want to be caught in the middle of some important work when the batteries go down, you have an optical warning, that is the green LED situated on top of the mouse blinks when the batteries are going down and you need to change them. This mouse is very useful and handy and also comfortable and offers a high quality for a good price. You can use it for all mousing activities and get the best results. If you are interested, you can get it from any online store for a price between $25-50, depending on the offer. For example you can order one here for $50.
Cool Computer Mouse
Published by MouseArena, on March 8th, 2010, in the categories: Design, Mouse Gadgets
When i first saw these two computer mice ( I did not know at first what they were, believe me) I could not help staring and wondering: what on Earth is that? The extraterrestrial "thing" in the first picture turned out to be Trioc 3D Pro, produced by a Swedish company called Trioc AB. It can be used as a computer mouse and also as a laptop accessory. This mouse is capable of 3D navigation, allowing you to pan, zoom and rotate. It looks like a giant rubber ball that got trapped inside an iron clam or something similar. Apparently this ball is the most important piece of the ensemble, as it must be rotated three ways in order to get the cursor move on the screen, zoom or whatever else you can do with it. It is in fact a 3D controller and a very 3D optimized mouse and it is used mainly for CAD software. You know this kind of applications need a lot of accuracy and precision and this mouse is there to offer them. Oh, need I mention that it was awarded at Product Design 2008? Well, then i must mention the price that comes with the performance: $580.

This gadget showed in the second picture could be considered anything but a computer mouse when you see it transformed. I took it for a toy, those transformer robots my boy likes so much. It does transform , but not in a car or a ball: it turns into a perfectly operable and cool computer mouse.

It is called a Trypticon and is in fact a competitive laser mouse. When you see it on the desk is a kind of bully, but otherwise normal computer mouse, having some oranges stripes on. But if you know what buttons to push and what to twist, you will transform it into a bizarre dinosaur with purple feet and hands and a long beak or mouth with sharp teeth.
This cool computer mouse is, as funny as it may seem, for adults use only, recommended only for those collectors that are over 16, as the younger ones may get hurt while transforming it or operating it. So now there are officially toys made only for men ( I don't know any women that would like to have it on their desk at home). It is an optical mouse with 800 dpi resolution and it can easily be connected to the USB port if you plug a cord in it and in the USB, too. It needs some additional software that is compatible with Windows 98 and later editions and also with Mac OS.
In case you may be interested, you can order one here for the cost of $69.99.
Fun Mouse Pads

So I surfed the internet this morning looking for a couple of funny mouse pads to make my day. I know I could have picked up some others, but I prefered these two because I am only human , so I am subjective and I liked them most.
The first one is like a message to Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft and the father of Windows operating system. The message is :"If Bill Gates had a nicle for every time Windows crashed ... Oh, wait, he does." It's pure and simple irony. It refers to the fact that Bill Gates earned a lot of money from producing Windows operating system. But we all know that. Now you must read between the lines and understand the actual meaning intended here: Bill Gates probably has so much money exactly because his Windows operating system crashes a lot , so it's not a good product, but he sells it any way and his fortune is based on this. And if you pay even more attention you can see the penguin above the message written on the mouse pad and everybody knows this is the mascot for Ubuntu Operating system, produced by Linux, a rival software company for Microsoft.

If we are talking about fun mouse pads and software companies let's talk about Mac. You all know that the representation of a bitten apple is the symbol of Apple Computers, right? Well, what could be funnier than having a Mac computer at home and getting and Apple mouse pad as a gift for your birthday? I think it's nice and funny and I really like the colour. The shape is extraordinarily well designed and now it's about pure but funa advertising. It's not necessary to spell the name (Apple computers) anywhere because people will just know the minute they see your mouse pad.

Besides from the funny effect these mouse pads must be functional, too, because otherwise they end up in the trash. The first one is a regular square mouse pad and the second one has an irregular shape of a bitten apple. They are both made of isoprene foam that is very resistant to heat and stain and also washable. They both have a rubber backing to prevent then from slipping oof the desk while you are mousing. They are personalized mouse pads with a message on and if you want to change the message just upload your photo version and you can have your mouse pad in no time. The other one if offered as a gift to Apple customers on special occasions like Christmas.
Maybe we should purchase these fun mouse pads to make us smile every day or maybe we should remember how to do this without them.
