Corvette Computer Mouse

Look at these nice looking shiny little cars! Aren't they gorgeous? Now imagine you have one on your desk. That's a pretty thought , isn't it? Let's go a little further with this imagination exercise and try to imagine you can use it every day and keep your hand on it at least for a few hours every single day without reproaches from your wife that you are a grown up now and should stop playing with toy cars. You are smiling, aren't you? Well, all these are possible now, as this nice car can nowadays be used as a computer mouse, too. In fact it is a perfect replica of a Corvette car and it is at the same time a very goo wireless computer mouse. I bet the person who had this idea was a man. In fact this idea is a brilliant one. There are so many men and young boys who love cars and use computer mice, too. All the men dream about having an original Corvette in their garage ever since they can drive. But if they can't afford having a real one, they can be satisfied with a very beautiful replica they can also use as a computer mouse.

The Corvette computer mouse is a wireless mouse and is delivered together with its small USB receiver. It looks exactly like a real Corvette, as it was designed after the plans of the original Chevrolet Corvette . The fact that it is wireless makes it even more credible. The four tires are  chrome plated at the outside and the entire car is beautifully coloured and shiny, even if the exterior of this computer mouse is made of plastic instead of metal in order to offer a comfortable support for the hand and not a cold uncomfortable one.

The windows are black, looking cool and at the same time hiding the interior of the Corvette computer mouse. The hood offers a comfortable support for the hand while using this mouse and the front part is made of the two usual reight click and left click buttons that havethw scroll wheel between them. There are no other mouse buttons except for these ones in order not to spoil the overall design of the Corvette computer mouse. The scroll wheel is made of plastic with an indented model that makes it esy to operate and ensures quick response to the smallest gesture of your finger. It can be used to easily browse the internet pages or the long text documents. Some models make the scroll wheel be surrounded by light, the same coour as the headlights, usually electric blue. The headlights were replaced by blue LEDs and they show an electric blue light when the mouse is  turned on. Actually the mouse also has a very useful on/off button for the headlights if you do not want them to be lit and eat up all the power of the batteries and another one for turning the entire mouse on and off when you leave home for some time or when you travel. This possibility and also the energy saver technology that makes your computer mouse enter the sleep mode when you are not using it for more than five minutes allow the batteries to last up to several months. This original computer mouse works with two AA batteries that are necessary for the mouse in order to provide the necessary energy to send messages about its location to the reciver that is connected to an USB port of your computer.

All the models of this Corvette computer mouse have only two doors, but they can't be opened, being like that only for the sake of the similar design. Some of the models, like the black one in the picture below, are corded and the computer mouse cord gets out from under the front part of the car. All the models of this Z06 Corvette are available in different colours, ranging from red, yeallow, white, black and even the design of a police car. This is an optical computer mouse , so it has an optical sensor beneath it that records the position of the mouse and after that this is sent to the receiver by means of  radio frequency signals. This technology allows the exact positioning of the mouse and a very fast response of the computer reflected in the movement of the cursor on the computer screen. The resolution of this mouse is pretty high, of 800 dots per inch and this means you can use it for more accurate operations as well. You can use this mouse for your desktop computer and for your laptop as well. The mouse does not stand on its underneath part, but it stands like any car on the four wheels. They are the ones that move when you operate the mouse with your hand. This is pretty unusual for a computer mouse, but it is the proof that it works.

If you turn the car/mouse upside down you will certainly notice a piece of paper that has a seventeen digits number printed on it. This is the VIN code, an unique number for every such product that you can use to register it and activate the one year warranty that is compulsory for every new product. This Corvette computer mouse is recommended to be used by children older than seven , as the size does not fit the small hands of the younger children and they may accidentally remove the wheels and swallow them by mistake which can lead to accidents. For all these reasons there is this age limit that is recommended in the user's manual, too. It is compatible with all versions of Windows, Vista included and Mac OS. It does not require a special additional software to work, unless you want to reprogramme the buttons. Otherwise you just plug the receiver in the USB port and the computer will immediately recognize it. Even the fact the it only has two buttons plus the scroll wheel makes us believe that this mouse is not recommended for gaming, but for all the other uses of a normal computer mouse. It is primarily a good optical mouse, with the benefit of being a piece of collection for the people who like nice cars, especially the Corvette.

The price varies according to the web site that is selling it , but if you find an opportunity to compare the prices of the same product on more web sites you will find that it sells for a sum between $35-60. If you want to purchase a cheaper one, you can always access www.amazon.com or www.ebay.com, but you won't get any warranty there and also the product may not be new.
