Logitech MX600 cordless laser mouse is considered to be the improved wireless version of MX400.It keeps the traditional Logitech design, but this time it is a bit different, twisted somehow, so that the mouse could be more ergonomic and comfortable to use, even after long hours of using it. The size is perfect, fitting the palm of your hand in a comfortable way. The design is nice and ergonomic and you even have a thumb rest area and comfortable rubberized grips. The scroll wheel is also rubberized in order to avoid slipping.
<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->
It is amazing because of its simplicity. When you first look at it , you have the impression that it is minimalistic, but it actually has a lot of buttons that you can use by default or programme them to perform any functions you consider fit. Of course, there are the two traditional left and right click mouse buttons and the scroll wheel between them that also tilts to the sides for a horizontal scrolling.

Then there are the buttons on the left side of the mouse that are being operated by the thumb. The two buttons situated right on the thumb rest are usually used as back and forth buttons. But there are three additional buttons on the left edge of the mouse that, if you use them by default, will zoom in, zoom out and zoom 100%. However, if you do not use the zoom so much, that is if you are not interested in editing photos or something similar, you can always reprogramme them, for example to act like media buttons, performing the play/pause, volume up and volume down functions.

Logitech MX 600 cordless laser mouse is of course cordless. That is why it needs a receiver that connects to the USB or PS2 port of your computer. The wireless communication is made through 2.4 GHz radio frequency signals, the receiver getting the signals instantly due to the flawless responsiveness and state-of -the art laser technology. The laser sensor is very precise and works on all kinds of surfaces, even on glass, which is obviously superior to all the optical computer mice I have ever seen.

Being wireless means that this mouse works on batteries, two AA batteries to more exact. But they can last for a long time as the smooth moves of the mouse reduce friction and also the battery consumption. Because you don’t want to be caught in the middle of some important work when the batteries go down, you have an optical warning, that is the green LED situated on top of the mouse blinks when the batteries are going down and you need to change them. This mouse is very useful and handy and also comfortable and offers a high quality for a good price. You can use it for all mousing activities and get the best results. If you are interested, you can get it from any online store for a price between $25-50, depending on the offer. For example you can order one here for $50.

They say that if you have a really good computer mouse you won’t need a mouse pad any more, as the latest mice, optical and laser and glazer and whatever computer mice have been invented lately work on virtually on any kind of surface. Well, I disagree. First of all the mouse pad certainly has its advantages. It offers the right surface for mousing and the perfect texture for tracking.
<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->
Then it is very important to have a mouse pad, because a good quality one can help you a lot, especially if you use a wireless computer mouse. It has been proven that wireless mice have a reduced battery consumption if they use the proper mouse pad that reduces friction and, at the same time, offers enough resistance to prevent the mouse from slipping away.

If you are a HP fan and want a personalized mouse pad with a HP logo on it, you can purchase one here, for only $4.80. This way you can have a nice mouse pad with a logo on it that you can use for advertising purposes and also a very good quality mouse pad. The design, the texture and the colour of the HP mouse pad are perfect for being used by optical and laser computer mice. The metal finished design is meant for increasing precision and the textured surface on top of the HP mouse pad makes it perfect for mouse gliding and at the same time ensures and increased response.

The back of this mouse pad is made of rubber in order to prevent it from slipping on the surface of your desk when you are mousing during an intense gaming session for example. The mouse pad is flexible, but firm enough to stay flat on the desk, offering a safe and smooth surface for the mouse in order to allow its running without difficulties and bumps.

What’s really great about this HP mouse pad is the fact that you can also use it as a screen protector when you are travelling with your fragile notebook with you. Simply place the mouse pad between the laptop lid and the keyboard and this way you will secure the screen, making sure it won’t crack or break during transportation or when it hits something. It’s also a very convenient place to store the mouse pad when travelling without the risk of losing it or maybe fold it and causing it to wrinkle and thus to lose its properties as a perfect mouse pad.

So, whether you are using it as a promotional object, a bonus for your customers who buy computer parts or only as a gift for you or your friends, this HP mouse pad proves to be a valuable asset that can be used with a desktop computer, but also a laptop, as a mouse support but also as protection for your laptop screen. It proves its qualities in every case. Besides, the ratio between quality offered and price is incredible.

I guess we all think of one thing or another as being “cool”, but I guess it depends a lot on our tastes and our definition of cool. I consider a thing as being cool if it is unusual, but at the same time stylish and useful, something that was made with a purpose , not for the sake of being out of the ordinary and with no obvious utility. A cool computer mouse is, from my point of view a very out of the ordinary computer mouse, but still very functional and rare. It has to be a bit shocking, to leave me breathless when I see it for the first time.

<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->

When i first saw these two computer mice ( I did not know at first what they were, believe me) I could not help staring and wondering: what on Earth is that? The extraterrestrial “thing” in the first picture turned out to be Trioc 3D Pro, produced by a Swedish company called Trioc AB. It can be used as a computer mouse and also as a laptop accessory. This mouse is capable of 3D navigation, allowing you to pan, zoom and rotate. It looks like a giant rubber ball that got trapped inside an iron clam or something similar. Apparently this ball is the most important piece of the ensemble, as it must be rotated three ways in order to get the cursor move on the screen, zoom or whatever else you can do with it. It is in fact a 3D controller and a very 3D optimized mouse and it is used mainly for CAD software. You know this kind of applications need a lot of accuracy and precision and this mouse is there to offer them. Oh, need I mention that it was awarded at Product Design 2008? Well, then i must mention the price that comes with the performance: $580.

This gadget showed in the second picture could be considered anything but a computer mouse when you see it transformed. I took it for a toy, those transformer robots my boy likes so much. It does transform , but not in a car or a ball: it turns into a perfectly operable and cool computer mouse.

It is called a Trypticon and is in fact a competitive laser mouse. When you see it on the desk is a kind of bully, but otherwise normal computer mouse, having some oranges stripes on. But if you know what buttons to push and what to twist, you will transform it into a bizarre dinosaur with purple feet and hands and a long beak or mouth with sharp teeth.

This cool computer mouse is, as funny as it may seem, for adults use only, recommended only for those collectors that are over 16, as the younger ones may get hurt while transforming it or operating it. So now there are officially toys made only for men ( I don’t know any women that would like to have it on their desk at home). It is an optical mouse with 800 dpi resolution and it can easily be connected to the USB port if you plug a cord in it and in the USB, too. It needs some additional software that is compatible with Windows 98 and later editions and also with Mac OS.

In case you may be interested, you can order one here for the cost of $69.99.

Logitech G9 laser gaming mouse strikes you at first sight with its unusual appearance that reminds you of a tank, especially if you look at it from the side. But if you are patient enough to get your hand on it and make a few clicks, you will be amazed and become immediately its number one fan. It certainly is a gaming mouse and you can see it from the first touch. But the first thing you must do after unpacking the mouse from the box is to choose the right grip for you. You know that different people hold the mouse in different ways: some prefer holding it with their whole hand and resting the palm on the end of it and some prefer just to operate it with their fingers, preferring a more gentle grip. Well, Logitech G9 laser gaming mouse has a surprise for all of you: you get the chance to choose a grip from the two available, according to your preference. One of them is wider and with a comfortable rear for those preferring a firm grip with the whole hand and the other is a bit more narrow and perfect for the second category of users.

<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->

The design is not particularly ergonomic, but still it is pretty comfortable to use. The mouse has the regular left and right click buttons, another button right below the left click button that actually has two clicking sides marked with + and – , which is used for adjusting the amazing resolution of 3200 dpi in five steps, decreasing or increasing it. This incredible sensitivity and accuracy result in an instant response of the cursor on the computer screen, which is perfect for computer gamers. Under it you can see the LED showing the chosen resolution step in case you are not sure of it. There are two more buttons on the left side of the mouse that can be operated only by your thumb. Usually they function as back and forth buttons, but you can use the mouse’s software and drivers to program all the buttons as you wish.

I mentioned that Logitech G9 gaming mouse is a laser mouse , so the laser sensor helps by its precision and speed, making the mouse an unbeatable tool in computer games. The scroll wheel is also very important, as it can switch its function from line by line clicking to a hyper fast scrolling, where you can skip tens of pages with a single scroll touch. The Teflon feet help the mouse move smooth and fast on the surface of the mouse pad and on any kind of surface, as laser mice can work properly everywhere.

When it comes to games, this mouse can store up to five profiles in the on-board memory (for example macros, dpi setting , LED color – yes, it’s true, you have the possibility to choose the color of the LEDs).

Another unique option to have is to choose if you want it to be a light or a heavy mouse, so you get a different weight cartridge according to your option.

The bottom line is that this is an amazing gaming mouse that sells for an average price of $60-90.

Logitecg G1 computer mouse is an optical mouse , corded, meant mainly for gaming and that is also sold for an affordable price, around $20-25. As you can see from the pictures, this mouse has a nice design with dark blue and black margins and also black buttons and scroll wheel. Just below the scroll wheel you can see the Logitech logo.
<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->

The design is not very ergonomic, but it’s comfortable when you use the mouse. It can be used by all people, left or right handed people altogether and, even if it really is a gaming mouse, it does not have extra buttons, but only three, plus the scroll wheel.

It is at the same time simple and complex, with very few buttons, but a lot of qualities. For example this Logitech G1 computer mouse has an optical performance of 800 dpi and the processing speed of 5.8 megapixels per second. It is very fast and offers a lag-free mousing , having an acceleration of up to 15 gs. The G1 mouse is connected to the USB or PS2 port of your computer and communicates instantenously with it thanks

o the amazing speed of data transfer which is eight times higher than that of regular computer mice. This mouse is also very light, weighing only 80 grams, so it is perfect to be used with notebooks and laptops and its weight allows a veryfast movement, too. Its moves are smooth and fast and this is due partly to the Teflon feet that make the mouse move like a feline.

The mouse does not need any additional software, but works perfectly from the moment you plug it in. However, if you want to change the standard settings and assign new functions for the mouse buttons, you can download the latest version of drivers from the Logitech official website. All these features show us the intended purpose of releasing a gaming mouse: first there’s the incredible speed and accuracyhelped by the sensitive optical sensor and the Teflon feet, then there’s the light weight that helps is move like the wind and also the fact that it is corded, as wireless mice are seldom good for gaming, as they may loose signal any time and have lag, which is really bad for the addicted gamer.The Teflon feet are guaranteed for 250 kilometres and the buttons for 3 million clicks .

The left and right click buttons do exactly what their names say they do: click left and right with the subsequent commands coming from this.The scroll wheel can be used to move more quickly between game fields or leaf the pages of a very long document looking for specific information. The small button situated just below the scroll wheel works as a “back’ button, but you programme it to perform another operation as you wish.

In conclusion, if you want a simple, yet very effective computer mouse for gaming sessions and you also want not to spend a fortune on it – you found the perfect candidate from my point of view: it’s the Logitech G1 computer mouse.

I like jokes and caricatures, I like comedies and generally I like all funny things because they make me laugh and that feels nice. And when this funny thing is surrounded by a witty sarcasm and irony I can only enjoy it better. I am wearing a t-shirt that says :”Newton is dead, Einstein is dead and I ‘m not feeling very well”. So you understand why I really love funny and ironic mouse pads that have a message on. And the message does not necessarily mean that it has to be read by the person is addresses. It’s more like talking to yourself or asking a rhetorical question.

<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->

So I surfed the internet this morning looking for a couple of funny mouse pads to make my day. I know I could have picked up some others, but I prefered these two because I am only human , so I am subjective and I liked them most.

The first one is like a message to Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft and the father of Windows operating system. The message is :”If Bill Gates had a nicle for every time Windows crashed … Oh, wait, he does.” It’s pure and simple irony. It refers to the fact that Bill Gates earned a lot of money from producing Windows operating system. But we all know that. Now you must read between the lines and understand the actual meaning intended here: Bill Gates probably has so much money exactly because his Windows operating system crashes a lot , so it’s not a good product, but he sells it any way and his fortune is based on this. And if you pay even more attention you can see the penguin above the message written on the mouse pad and everybody knows this is the mascot for Ubuntu Operating system, produced by Linux, a rival software company for Microsoft.

If we are talking about fun mouse pads and software companies let’s talk about Mac. You all know that the representation of a bitten apple is the symbol of Apple Computers, right? Well, what could be funnier than having a Mac computer at home and getting and Apple mouse pad as a gift for your birthday? I think it’s nice and funny and I really like the colour. The shape is extraordinarily well designed and now it’s about pure but funa advertising. It’s not necessary to spell the name (Apple computers) anywhere because people will just know the minute they see your mouse pad.

Besides from the funny effect these mouse pads must be functional, too, because otherwise they end up in the trash. The first one is a regular square mouse pad and the second one has an irregular shape of a bitten apple. They are both made of isoprene foam that is very resistant to heat and stain and also washable. They both have a rubber backing to prevent then from slipping oof the desk while you are mousing. They are personalized mouse pads with a message on and if you want to change the message just upload your photo version and you can have your mouse pad in no time. The other one if offered as a gift to Apple customers on special occasions like Christmas.

Maybe we should purchase these fun mouse pads to make us smile every day or maybe we should remember how to do this without them.

Logitech has released many very appreciated wireless mice. They all their weak and strong points, but none of them has equaled the overall fame and popularity of the Logitech MX Revolution computer mouse. It is the best rated Logitech wireless mouse when you consider the average rating for all the features. Logitech MX Revolution really was a revolution in the computer mouse industry. Let’s see some of its features and give arguments why we should consider it the best rated Logitech wireless mouse.
<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->
First of all Logitech MX Revolution has a very nice ergonomic design, with a very comfortable place sculpted in the mouse for the thumb to rest. The grip is covered with rubber for a better adherence of the hand. The palm of your hand rests comfortably on the back of the mouse and the buttons and both scrolls are very easy to use, being placed in the reach of your fingers.

There are the two regular left click and right click buttons with a scroll wheel between them and another one on the right side – operated by your thumb. In fact only the scroll wheel on top acts like a normal scroll wheel and helps you navigate through very long files, because the second one is used as an application switcher. When you have a lot of applications opened at the same time and one or even two screens to look at , this button helps you decide which application you choose to stay on.

Just click it once and you will be shown a window with all the active applications that are open. With other consecutive clicks you can go from one application or tab to another until you end up on the right one. However, the scroll wheel offers one of the most interesting and important features of this computer mouse: the fast scroll. With just a gentle stoke of the wheel you have the possibility to browse tens or even a hundred pages from a very long document.

But you can use it for line by line scrolling, too. It all depends on your need and on the document type.The wheel also tilts to the side for horizontal scrolling and can operate the zoom in and out functions. The small button positioned right below the scroll wheel searches for the selected word or phrase on the internet, opening your default browser. It is both useful and out of the ordinary.

You can’t talk about the best rated Logitech wireless mouse without mentioning its laser sensor that works like a charm on any kind of surface and gets the position of the mouse with great accuracy. The resolution is only 800 dots per inch, a lot less than a few gaming omputer mice I know, but quite enough if you use it for something else. The mouse communicates with the USB receiver plugged into the computer and works on two AA batteries.

Because nobody wants to be caught by surprise in the middle of some important things to do, you have four degrees of warning – the four little green LEDs telling you how full the battery is and when you are supposed to change it (it blinks as it approaches the terminal phase). The price is a bit prohibitive, about $100, but we are talking of serious and special features , precision and stability. That is why the Logitech company advertised it at the time as being “the most advanced computer mouse”.

Ever since the computer industry has evolved so much as to be included in every single field of activity, more and more people have spent their time behind a computer desk, doping their jobs on the computer as a normal everyday task. But using the computer keyboard and mouse for so many hours every day has come to be a demanding job and now results are showing: a lot of people working on computers at work and at home have developed occupational illnesses that are directly related to the use of computer mouse.
<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->
You may wonder why the sudden preoccupation for ergonomics, as the computer mouse has been around for about fourty years? Well, the computer mouse was indeed invented in the 1960s and patented in 1971, but it was used only by very few people who worked in research. And even then computer mice were used only at work and only for a very short time every day.

It was in the late 1980s that the computers began to be more popular and affordable and began to spread. Now computers are as common a site at home and at the office as the telephone or the TV set. There is barely one home without a computer in it , except of course the less developed countries.

And, of course, nowadays computers and computer mice are used for both work related things and personal and recreational purposes. And, as you know, everything coming in big quantities is bad. That’s exactly what I am trying to say here.

If you use the computer mouse regularly but in decent dosages nothing bad will happen to you. But if you exaggerate, you can get some computer related illness like the Repetitive Stress Injuries. They are : carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, cold hands syndrome, De Quervain’s disease, strained wrists and many others. They all affect you pretty badly.

So the question now is what to do to avoid getting hurt and having RSI? Well, the most effective thing would be to stop using the computer mouse. But this is not an option when you work in front of a computer all day long and you get pretty much money for that, too.

Then you should try using an ergonomic computer mouse. There are many different types of ergonomic computer mice on the market, each claiming to be the best. You can choose from: The Evoluent vertical ergonomic mouse, the Quill ergonomic mouse, the pen mouse, the 3M , the Zero tension mouse, the finger mouse and many other models.

They all have one purpose in mind: to make mousing a relaxed and natural movement that won’t affect people’s health. In fact that’s what ergonomics is about: adjusting the objects that people use to fit the user, that is to give the possibility for them to use natural moves and positions. That is why ergonomic computer mice opted for the vertical position lately, as it keeps the hand in a neutral position and no longer puts pressure on the wrist.

The only problem might be the price of these devices, which is pretty high . I guess this is caused by the cost of the research that needs to be done and all the tests and after that the patent for the ergonomic design, which can be rather expensive. So, I think we will continue using non-ergonomic computer mice for a while, until they get a lot cheaper and more popular.

I think good music is the one that stands the test of time and that real artists and really good bands will be listened to a long time after they have disappeared. One of the examples that I can get in favour of my statement id the rock band Rolling Stones. The rock band came into being in London in 1962 when two former school mates came together with the idea of having a band. They were Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.
<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->
The band had various artists in its components over time, but the Rolling Stones spirit remained unchanged: they are the same crazy non conformists that speak their mind and love freedom more than anything in life. Rebel and beautiful, they set up the standards very high in rock music and they are the first to improve their music and to do their best to make good quality music. Of course that over fourty years of performing on stage and on the radio and on tv they have gathered a big number of fans – it comes with the territory.

And of course all the fans want to have something that connects them with their favourite band, so they collect autographs, CDs, albums, posters and all kinds of things that can support to be printed with a photo of their favourite rock band. Now, when the computer age is in its bloom, you can find Rolling Stones mouse pads that are very beautifully printed with pictures of your favourite rock band.

There are two different kinds of Rolling Stones mouse pads. The first one is portrait mouse pads, that have photos with the band members, one at a time or all of them on the same mouse pad. You can see pictures of all the members of the band, like: Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ron Wood and Charlie Watts and others that were part of this band over time. Then there are the mouse pads with the symbol of Rolling Stones – a mouth with the tongue stuck out, probably coming from the name of the 2002 tour – Licks Tour.

The first picture showed here is of Keith Richards, one of the band’s founders and you can buy it for $9.99 if you order here. The base of the mouse pad is made of natural rubber and the top is made of polyester fabric. The rubber base is very adherent and keeps the mouse pad on the desk while you are playing or just mousing around and the top is the perfect surface for tracking. These mouse pads are perfect for standard and optical computer mice. The colours are vivid and the pictures very nice, resisting for a long time and not peeling off .

These are only two examples, but if you have some other ideas or like other pictures with Rolling Stones better, feel free to upload them to the web site in order to get a personalized mouse pad made especially for you. And you can do this from the comfort of your home, just place the order, pay for it and wait for the package to arrive in order to enjoy the perfect gift for you or your friends – fans of this rock band.

Bluetooth technology has only recently entered the computer world. So there aren’t many bluetooth computer mice yet available on the market. One of the strangest models of bluetooth mouse I have ever seen is definitely the HP Bluetooth PC Card Mouse. I think it would be a perfect candidate for the thinnest computer mouse. It is so thin, that it actually looks more like a memory card than like a normal computer mouse.
<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->
I get it why its name is PC card mouse. This mouse is completely flat, very far from the classical view of a computer mouse, all round and hunchback, offering a good place to rest your palm. Well, not this time. This bluetooth computer mouse produced by HP offers nothing when it comes to ergonomics. However, this compensates with all the other features generously offered.

As you may have noticed this mouse is wireless and it has to work on some kind of power source, right? And where could you find so thin batteries to fit this incredibly thin computer mouse? Well, you don’t. This strange PC Card mouse gets to be charged by placing it into the Card slot of your notebook and can also be transported in there very comfortably without having to worry about space and damage during transportation or other similar things. When the charging or travelling is over, just take it out and use it. It couldn’t be easier.

The design is kind of strange, as it is flat. In fact it does have something that looks like a fin at the end of the mouse, that flips open and acts like a support, rising the back of the mouse to a more comfortable position. You can’t rest your palm on it, however, because if you do that the weight of your hand will turn the mouse off when this fin closes. This card computer mouse has no scroll wheel, but it has the regular two buttons used for left and right clicking , which are a bit carved inside in the place where your fingers touch the mouse. Then there is the blue bluetooth light that lets you know when the computer mouse is operating and that turn red when it is not working.

The bluetooth card computer mouse by HP has only 500 dots per inch resolution, which can be a problem for larger documents. However, the optical sensor incorporated in this mouse works perfectly fine and it locates the position of the mouse with accuracy. Then the mouse uses its bluetooth technology to transmit it to the computer, without having to use an USB port, which can be used for other peripherals in this case.

You can use this cordless computer mouse the operate your notebook from a distance of up to ten metres, which can be very useful when you are making presentations in front of an audience and you have to move in front of a larger screen. When it first appeared, this mouse was pretty expensive because of the new bluetooth technology available, but now you can find it for sale for a fair price between $25-45, depending on the web site offering it.
