Logitech Ladybug Mouse

I know and you knaow that it is not recommended to let your child use the computer until he is big enough to go to school and he needs it for certain research he needs at school or for some homework. However, we often let them play on the computer even when they are younger than that. In any case, they find it hard to use a normal computer mouse, as their hands are usually too small for this. They need a smaller computer mouse that is appropriate for their small hands. Logitech Ladybug Mouse is such an example, only two-thirds the size of a regular computer mouse. It is designed especially for kids, starting with the size, then with its funny appearance of a ladybug (which kids simply adore) and finishing with the hard cover that is kid-proof, that is is very hard to break or remove it. Kids can use it safely as a second mouse beside your family computer mouse, as you can plug in the USB port and does not need extra software to work. It can perform its duties the minute it has come out of the box. It is an optical cord mouse, sa it is very sensitive and compatitive, offering your children the hoped results. You will love it so much, that you will forget to lose your own computer mouse and use Logitech Ladybug Mouse instead. It does not require a mouse pad, because it is an optical mouse and it also offers a lot of precision movements.

This nice looking little computer mouse is adapted for the small hands and fingers of the children, allowing them to operate it with the two click buttons and one scroll wheel. The size adapts to the tiny dimensions of their hands in order to make the mouse fit perfectly in their tiny fatty hands. Logitech Ladybug Mouse was produced in hectic periods, with discontinous appearance on the market.

I like the colour and the black spots that make you think immediately at the long leaves of grass and warm sunshine and staying in the sun. I love ladybugs and I love this mouse. I guess I love it as much as my daughter does and she can't stop talking about it since the moment she first laid eyes on it. I thing that this mouse has a cord on purpose. Kids are not very careful with their things and devices, so a wireless mouse could get lost easily or dropped on the floor. While it is corded to your computer, the kids can only use it, not misplace or break it. Well thought. My opinion is that this mouse was in fact designed by a parent who experienced all this live at home with his own kids. Not to mention the fact that a cordless mouse needs batteries to be changed and usually are very curious about it and once they learn where the batteries stay , they feel an imperative desire to take them out all the time. So the idea with the cord is not a sign of being behind your time, but a pragmatic way of thinking like a child, for a child.

It can be used with any kind of computer, as it is Windows and Mac OX compatible. However, you may need an USB adapter for the Logitech Ladybug, as it comes with a serial port connection. Though it was intended for chuildren, it can be well operated by adults with small hands or simply adults who are too lazy to plug in the children's mice and then use their own computer mouse. However, it does not seem to have very high speed or response as a computer mouse designed for gamers. But again, it was meant for kids and they are not supposed to play difficult shooting games, but merely drawing things and playing simple games with dragons and princesses. Apart from the childish design, this mouse is indeed very durable and resistant, as it resisted almost two years in the hands of two very curious children ans survived without being damaged.

I don't know what else I can say about this Logitech Ladybug Mouse: it is a regular Logitech computer mouse and only the fact that it was manufactured by Logitech is a guarantee of quality and thing that is well done. Then it is a small mouse for children, so it is not that very fast and sensitive, but it can be used in Paint for example without a simgle problem. Things for kids are supposed to be resistant to avoid their being hurt and this mouse really is. My son even tried to break nuts with it and the mouse resisted (ok, I was very quick to respond to this emergency).

I forgot to mention the price: quite affordable $10 -shipping and all. Pretty good bargain if you ask me. You can purchase it to make your child a surprise present and also to make the surface of the computer desk a little merrier.
