I got the new X7 XL-747H (3600dpi) few days ago and man i’m lovin’ it … to be honest i was’nt expecting the quality of the mouse that much good when i was going to open the box. Really they look more pretty in real as compared to the pictures all over the web. The XL-747H is same in shape as the above one but it has an Spider design over the mouse. They even included 16 mouse grip rubbers (4 rubbers below the mouse) and extra rubbers for cursor fix button below the mouse as well. It also comes with the Anti-Vibrate Oscar Editor software bundled alone the product. All I can say that i’m really satisfied with product interms of Quality and Price. It only costs me 19$ (1600 PKR) in my country. IT’s Awesome.

Confirmed, the “blow in the scroll” method works, just tried it and it solved my random up/down scrolling problem.

i got the laser one and u can press the buttons and stuff on it but wen u try and move cursor nothing happens had it for 2 days

Old story. Actually THERE IS NO WAY to fix it.

The problem is some dirt entering into the very closed scroller mechanism.

I’ve opened the mouse, voiding my warranty.

Opened the scroller, which involves bending the metal parts, lightly damaging the plastic core while trying to take it out. Cleaned the small plastic core. Cleaned the inners of the scroller box using a small screwdriver. Closed the box back.

This harmed the surface of the core, which partially killed the ‘click’ action and precision of the wheel. Eg. turn 1 step up, nothing happens, 1 step more and you get 2 ups at the same time. I don’t recommend doing what I did, the core is very small and hard to take it out with some other smaller parts and put it back without doing any harm.

This fixed the bouncy action for some months, however the mouse is no more enjoyable. And now the bouncy action is back again.

This is a serious bug of this wonderful mouse, and should be taken care of by A4Tech in future versions.
