HP has used this technology so as to meet the kind of technology and innovations people are expecting in today’s world. X7000 gets connected to your PC or laptop via wireless connection. It comes with a new feature called touch-sensitive strip that is not easily found in any mouse. Using this feature, you can speed up number of pages with just a flip of your finger. There is an adjustable laser sensor in this Wi-Fi mouse along with six programmable buttons out of which one is especially for Facebook. So now you can directly log on to Facebook with just a click of button provided internet connection should be there on your desktop or laptop. It has rubber side grip for your comfort and has Teflon sheet at the bottom side.
Its battery life is limited up to nine months which I feel is quite less especially in such a highly featured mouse. Dimension of this Wi-Fi mouse is much similar to your old desktop size mouse which means that you may find it difficult to put this mouse in your travel bag but HP is trying hard to adjust so many unique features of X7000 into smaller size. You can use this mouse with your desktop but it should have wireless card installed inside CPU. X7000 is a perfect example of cutting edge technology and delivers high performance. It does not require any wire, software for installation. Just connect the mouse with your PC’s built in Wi-Fi receiver. Its design proved much helpful to gamers who find it easier to use mouse control in gaming via X7000 mouse. With this mouse, you will get an extra batteries and a warranty card. This new Wi-Fi technology means that there are no wires to interrupt the settings. X7000 runs at almost any kind of surface without any disturbance. It has got battery life twice as that of Bluetooth based mouse available in the market.
As X7000 is Wi-Fi enabled, you can now use this mouse from longer distance (up to 9 meters) without any signal breakage as compared to Bluetooth based mouse whose range limits its usage. The only problem with X7000 mouse is its unusual curve shape that makes it almost difficult for left hand users to grip it comfortably. Design and colour of this mouse is completely different. Side view of the X7000 is simply eye catching.
I am sure this technology has amazed a lot of us and many will look forward to buy one for their PC. HP should also take a look on curve shape design of X7000 so as to solve an issue for left hand users.
