Wowpad Mouse Pad

Even if you have a laser mouse that is supposed to work without a mouse pad, it is still more comfortable to have a mouse pad, as the surface of the table or desk is not offering the same adherence like the mouse pad and you will find your mouse slipping around the table. Gamers in particular are constantly looking for a good mouse pad, as they need a lot of accuracy and speed when playing different computer games. Some studies that have been made recently even claim that the use of an optical mouse pad can reduce power consumption. That is wireless computer mice will have a longer life for their batteries.

Computer technology has evolved a lot lately and the computer peripherals had to evolve, too, in order to keep up with all the new features of software and hardware. Well, the old piece of plastic used in the past as a mouse pad is long gone. Now you can find special mouse pads with an optical design meant to help optical and laser mice.
Let's take Wow!pads mouse pads for example. They were just another kind of mouse pads until they released the new designed mouse pads with improved features and a special texture of the surface. The first thought that comes into mind when you see such a mouse pad is "Wow, it is so thin!". And it is, indeed, only 5mm thick. You can mistake it for a sheet of paper and keep it anywhere, in a book or rolled in the bag or even in your pocket.

Wow!Pad incorporates the latest technology in its fine special surface with a sleek design meant for optical and laser computer mice. The pad is thin, a little rigid, in the shape of a square or rectangle, with different prints on it. You have the opportunity to choose among different models of prints (animals, college signs, graphite, great painters collection) or you can have your own company's logo on it. You can do this online without the trouble of going to a store to buy what you want. The pad is a bit contradictory: it is very light, but still stiff enough to provide a very good quality surface for mousing. You can use any kind of computer mouse on it: roller ball, optical, laser. It is perfect for any computer mouse, offering the optical mouse that can experience some problems on reflexive or transparent surfaces the opportunity to work on a specially designed mouse pad. The dotted and grid graphite design is perfect for them.

What is extraordinary about this type of mouse pad is its back. I don't know exactly the technology used or material it is made of, but it sticks to the table if you press a little bit, it does not move when you use a computer mouse on it and you can hardly notice its presence if you don't look at it, as it is very thin indeed. But the funny thing is it does not have any glue to help it stick to the table. If you pull up one of its corners, it will peel from the table leaving no trace behind. I think it has some cells or little feet that suck up the air when you press it, making it stick to the surface it is on. This back is referred to as non-skid and non-slip. But it is incredible anyway. I think that a company that gives such attention to details and to pleasing its customers is worth our respect.

Its texture is made so as to allow the computer mouse to move freely across its surface but not to slip away. Movement resistance is very low and I think this is the reason why people say it helps reduce battery consumption in wireless mice. The surface is not slippery, though you might expect it to be when you see the mouse moving on it. It feels rough and matte. So the material used for making this mouse pad is extraordinary and uses last minute technology and that is what differentiates the good mouse pads from the bad or average ones. In fact some researchers even made several experiments in which they compared many computer mice working on different brands of mouse pads. All mice, without exception, work better on Wow!pad mouse pad, proving its undisputable quality. It is also anti-static, antibacterial and scratch resistant.

Another strong point in favour of this mouse pad is the fact that you can actually clean it and work like a brand new one. You can perform this operation with window cleanser or even better warm water with liquid soap. It does not absorb water and it does not deteriorate because of water. It just gets cleaned and works perfectly well after that.
Another thing that puzzled me is the fact that you get one year warrantee when you purchase one and if something happens and it deteriorates they replace it immediately. I couldn't help saying: "What on earth? It's just a mouse pad!" As I said before, it proves once again that they are a very reliable and serious company.
The price is another advantage; you get very good quality for a reasonable price. I wonder if you could possibly ask for more from a mouse pad. I did not think of half of these features when I started looking for a new mouse pad for my computer.

The Wow!pad mouse pad completely stinks. It DOES NOT stick to the desk. STAY AWATY from this product. IT DOES NOT WORK!

Doesn't stick? Seriously? I don't know what surface you're using it on, but mine have been sticking to my desk for years now. I could see it needing a smoother surface, though since it uses a mild adhesive.
I love mine. I'm looking to replace them since they've gotten shiny from the polishing my mouse has given them. This is from years of gaming on them though. Also be sure not to fold one over too hard as it will crease. They flex, but they are similar to transparencies so they can crease.
